GOVERNMENT SAYS
TITO PARTISAN FORCES
SUFFER HUGE LOSSES

CAIRO,' Egypt, Dec. 31. (AP)—
The Partisan .forces of Marshal .losip Broz (Drug Tito) have suffered irreparable losses in recent
weeks of heavy fighting and 74,000 guerrillas are cut off in the Dinara Alps of northwestern Yugoslavia, an official statement from the royal Yugoslav government in exile said today.
The statement from King Peter's government, which is opposed to Marshal Broz and his
Partisan government, lacked confirmation from other sources.
Broz.' communiques have announced successful resistance to the German invaders and his supporters in London have estimated that the Partisans have liberated one-third of Yugoslavia. The royal Yugoslav government frequently has attempted to belittle the efforts of the Partisans.)

"They are deprived of all possible support from the outside and are at present engaged in desperate fighting with their backs to Dinara Alps," the statement said.
"Under pressure from German and Ustachi(Croat puppet troops) the forces of resistance of Yugoslav
fighters in Bosnia has been gravely endangered," it added.
