WASHINGTON, April 15.—(AP)
—Adm. Ernest J. King, accusing the Japanese of "lack of cooperation" in staking a major sea battle with the United States navy, said today that powerful new blows would be delivered during the next few months against Japanese bases, and against the Japanese fleet if it can be found.

The Red army captured the five-way rail junction of Tarnopol in pre-war Poland today 'and 500 miles to the southeast smashed through rear guard screens before Sevastopol, from which the bomb-groggy Axis defenders were trying to flee by sea.

To Save Imphal
From Capture
NEW DELHI, April 15—(U.R)
-—British and Indian troops en7aged Japanese forces in the Mils north and northeast of the Imphal plain today in an attempt to stop the enemy drive which has carried to within 10 miles of Imphal, capital of India's Manipur state.
The Japanese were reported suffering heavy losses in the fight were attacking from three sides in an effort to isolate British and Indian veterans in the town.
