the Pacific, 'the tangled Burma
battle zone, produced Chinese
claims today that the enemy had
been curbed in the China frontier
region and a Tokyo claim that on
the other side of Burma Japanese
forces were within four miles of India's
border.

that Japanese invaders were within four miles of India's
frontier.
