MASSIVE BOMBING FLEET HAMMERS DUTCH BASE
BATIVIA, N. E. I. Feb. 4-- (AP) A massive Japanese bombing fleet attempting to smash Soerabaja, the United Nation chief base of operations in the Dutch East Indies, fell far short of it's mark.

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND JAPS SEARCHED
The Federal Bureau of Investigation today raided the homes of alein Japanese on Bainbridge Island on Puget Sound in search of radio equipment and other contraband articles reportedly passed in quantity.
